This all started on Tuesday. After no signs of getting anywhere near rolling over… suddenly she wouldn’t stop. Now she gets all kinds of mad because she can only do it one way and gets stuck on her tummy. Which is all well and good for a while, but she gets lazy and doesn’t want to hold her head up anymore, lol.
Sorry Excuses
I know I should be blogging more. I can't even say I've been knitting like a mad woman as a lovely excuse... for that, many of you would forgive me, lol. Instead I have been folding laundry, tickling Lily and wasting time playing at Ancestry.com.
Our trip to Cali was nice. And sadly, by our, I just mean Lily and me. My sister Stevie's graduation was nice and she is elated to finally be DONE! She did give us a really cool tour of the "garden" where she works. Eating apricots straight off the tree while still warm from the sun is quite a treat.
We’ve spent the last week getting back into the ol’ household swing of things. We did get out to the pool a bit. Oh, and while I was gone we got new neighbors (super cool people) and just yesterday another family moved in filling up our little four unit building. Faye, our upstairs neighbor, said these three other units had been empty forever. Then we came along and in the last two weeks the other two units are occupied too! Says something about when people are moving in the army… but that is a whole other conversation! Oh okay, so we are at Ft Benning where the many schools cause a higher rate of turnaround… but still.
In "SuperExcitingNews" my parents (and brother) are coming to "My House" for the very first time on Friday! Somehow I couldn't get them to fly 11 hours to Germany. Five hours to Georgia is much more doable. :) They are staying until the following Saturday, just in time for the Fourth!
Ah... alas I must go, not enough time to tell you about all the wonderfully mundane that is our life... but the girl is waking from her nap so I have to run! Cheers!

Our Girl likes to Sit
I was talking with our neighbor, Cheryl, about how much Lily loves to be sitting up and talking with people. Just a few days later Cheryl gifted us with a Bumbo! How much fun!
Thanks Cheryl!
