We got to see the Giant Panda, but they were too busy being aloof to get a good picture. :(
Lily did have fun playing one, two, threeeeeeee (swing) with Lucy and Jacob.
And she had the best time running all over the place... please-do-not-hold-her-hand, thank-you.
We saw a little chipmunk who was not on the official Zoo map anywhere. I looked.
And a huge, ferocious, pygmy hippo who kindly showed us his tusks.
It was a pretty neat trip and tonight we are headed out to a baseball game. :) yay!

Sara, I'm just catching up on blogs and I registered the fact that you're in D.C.! We're only about two hours from you if you feel like driving EVEN MORE and coming for a visit. We'd love to see you guys. And then you could meet Samster the Hamster!

That hippo looks like a statue, so shiny and gray! Love Lily's independance and I am sure that keeps you on your toes looking out for her!
